Joining a new facility can be a difficult decision. We’ve rounded up some of the most common questions we get asked and placed them over here.
What if I have never worked out before?
No problem at all! Actually, that’s why we are here! No matter what skill or experience level you are at, we are here to help you every step of the way. We have had many members who were nervous to come in because of that very reason, but are now thriving in the classes.
Should I be fit before I join?
We actually get this question quite a bit. You are more than welcome to come join us as we have something for the complete beginner to the competing athlete. We look forward to seeing you!
I used to just exercise by myself and i'm not sure i'll like the group classes... i've never tried one before.
Many current members’ first experience with a group training class was actually with Reclaim! We offer free classes to see if the group setting is a good fit for you.
We have heard from our members, though, that they were also hesitant at first but enjoy the group setting more than solo sessions now! Some have cited they enjoyed working out with people who can keep them accountable and help keep them motivated. Most of them were nervous before their first class (which is totally normal!) but have now grown to really enjoy it and thrive.
What if I don't know how to do a particular exercise? I don't want to look like i don't know what i'm doing when i go there.
Our coaches are here to help you and adjust the workouts to best suit your goals and needs, while working within your comfort level. You’ll probably also notice that the other members are more than happy to lend a helping hand and encourage you, too – everyone has been at that stage before (even we coaches need a helping hand at times!) so no need to worry.
who is a good fit to join reclaim?
If you are someone who has a desire to become a healthier version of yourself, then Reclaim can definitely be for you. We really feel like we can be for everyone, but you have to have the mindset that you are ready for a change – to be healthier, happier, and stronger. If that’s you, then we’d love to chat.
How many times a week do I need to exercise?
This depends from person to person. In short, we start with figuring out what your goals and needs are and recommend a plan of action from there. We want to help connect you with the best program that’ll lead to your success.
