Give your child the foundation most adults wish they had started earlier

RECLAIM's youth training programme builds strength, movement, and confidence in young people. Structured coaching in a safe, supportive environment. Not a boot camp. Not a class. A programme.

Most kids either do not train at all, or train the wrong way

Without proper coaching, young people often learn bad movement habits, skip the fundamentals, or avoid training altogether because they do not know where to start.

The habits your child builds now will shape how they feel in their body for the rest of their life. That is worth getting right.

What youth training at RECLAIM looks like

  • Structured coaching from qualified coaches who understand youth development.
  • Focus on movement quality, strength foundations, and building confidence, not just athletic performance.
  • A safe, focused environment where young people feel comfortable and supported.
  • The same accountability and coaching standards we hold ourselves to with adult clients.

Frequently Asked Questions

What age range is the youth training programme for?

Our youth programme is designed for school-age young people. If you are unsure whether your child is the right age, book a call and we will advise you. We assess each young person individually before they start so we always know exactly what they are ready for.

Is strength training safe for children and teenagers?

Yes, when it is coached properly. The research is clear that supervised, age-appropriate strength training is safe and beneficial for young people. It builds bone density, improves movement quality, and reduces injury risk in sport. The key word is coached. Unsupervised or inappropriately programmed training is a different matter. At RECLAIM, every youth session is led by a qualified coach.

Does my child need to be athletic to join?

No. The youth programme is for young people at all levels. Some of our youth members are competitive athletes. Others have never trained before. We assess each young person on arrival and build a programme around their current ability and goals.

What does a typical youth training session involve?

Sessions focus on movement quality, strength foundations, and building confidence in a physical environment. Your child will learn how to move well, build strength progressively, and develop the kind of body awareness that reduces injury and builds long-term athletic potential. Sessions are structured, coach-led, and appropriate for the age group.

How is RECLAIM different from a school PE programme or a sports club?

School PE focuses on broad physical education. Sports clubs focus on skill development for a specific sport. RECLAIM youth training focuses on the physical foundations that make young people better at everything. Strength, movement quality, and confidence. These carry over into sport, school, and everyday life.

RECLAIM is the only facility in Greensburg with a dedicated youth programme. What does that mean in practice?

It means the programme is built specifically for young people, not adapted from an adult programme. Our coaches understand youth development. The sessions are designed for the age group. And the accountability system that runs through our adult coaching applies here too. Your child is never just left to get on with it.
